With a professional background in lab management across academia, R&D and engineering, Gemma has overseen all aspects of laboratory operations, from safety and compliance to workflow design and process improvement. She is skilled at creating calm from chaos, and has a track record of turning busy, complex environments into efficient and well-managed spaces.
Outside of work, Gemma is a Rainbow Leader with Girlguiding, enjoys getting outdoors for walks, and can usually be found being bossed around by her six-year-old daughter.
